Ingredients (For approx. 15-20 laddoos):
2 cups besan
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
🎛️ Heat a heavy-bottomed pan or kadai on low to medium heat.
🥄 Add Vashishti A2 Cow Ghee to the pan and let it melt.
✨ Add besan to the melted ghee and mix well to combine.
🔥 Keep the flame on low and continuously stir the mixture to avoid lumps.
🥣 Roast the besan on low heat for about 20-25 minutes or until it turns golden brown. The besan will release a nutty aroma when it's properly roasted.
🎛️ Turn off the heat and let the roasted besan cool slightly.
🥄 Once the besan has cooled a bit but is still warm, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well until everything is combined.
✨ Add the chopped nuts and mix again.
🥣 While the mixture is still warm, take small portions and shape them into round laddoos. You can make them as big or small as you prefer.
🍥 Place the shaped laddoos on a plate or tray and let them cool completely. As they cool, they will firm up.
✨ Once the besan laddoos are set, serve and enjoy!
